97% Feature
This feature allows the softener to regenerate anytime it reaches 97% softening capacity. This means it may trigger a recharge at times other than what you have set for the 'Recharge Time'. By turning this feature ON, you may save on salt and water usage.
How to Program this Feature (click here)
1. Hold the Select button down until '000' appears, then let go. Tap the Select button until you see the display showing 'OFF' and 'Recharge'.
2. Tap the Up arrow to turn the feature on.
3. Continue tapping the Select button to return to the home screen.
12/24 Hour Clock
Hold the Select button until '000' appears, then let go. Tap Select until you see '12 or 24 hr' on the screen. It should automatically be set at 12 hr (1 -12am, 1 - 12pm). If you want the 24 hour format, press the up button to have '24 hr' shown on the screen. Then press Select to move on.
Backwash and Rinse Times
The Backwash and Rinse cycles are designed to flush your resin beads of any leftover salt, hardness minerals, and debris. These times are often customized by homeowners with a water source high in iron or sediment.
